This Privacy Notice explains how SCALE UP INC (d/b/a Strategic Campaign Analysts Leading Elections with Unbiased Polls) collects, processes, stores, and protects personal data in connection with our research, polling, analytics, and coordination services. This notice applies to our clients, survey respondents, website visitors, and any other individuals whose data we process in the course of our operations. Survey respondents participating in our research have a right to anonymity. Individual responses are never attributed to specific respondents in any published report, deliverable, or public communication. All respondent data is aggregated and analyzed at the group level. Personally identifiable information collected during fieldwork (such as contact details used for quality verification) is stored separately from response data, access-restricted, and deleted upon completion of the quality assurance process, unless the respondent has provided explicit consent for extended retention.
Personal data is stored on secured systems with access controls limited to authorized personnel. Client project data is retained for a period of five (5) years from project completion unless a shorter or longer period is required by law or agreed upon contractually. Survey respondent data is retained for a maximum of twelve (12) months post-project, after which it is securely deleted or anonymized. We implement organizational and technical safeguards consistent with ISO-certified information security standards to prevent unauthorized access, loss, or destruction of data.
SCALE UP INC does not sell, rent, or trade personal data to any third party. We may share limited personal data with trusted service providers who assist in delivering our services (such as field research partners, translation services, or secure cloud hosting providers), subject to binding confidentiality agreements and data processing restrictions. Where data sharing is required by Philippine law, regulatory authority, or court order, we will comply while notifying affected parties to the extent permitted. We do not transfer personal data outside the Philippines without appropriate safeguards in place.
Under the Data Privacy Act of 2012, individuals whose data we process are entitled to the following rights: the right to be informed about how their data is used; the right of access to their personal data held by us; the right to object to processing; the right to erasure or blocking of data no longer needed or unlawfully processed; the right to rectification of inaccurate data; the right to data portability; and the right to file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (NPC) of the Philippines. If we become aware that personal data has been collected from a minor without appropriate consent, we will take immediate steps to delete that data. Researchers engaged in studies involving minors are required to comply with all applicable child protection laws and ethical research standards, including obtaining written parental consent.
